Frequently asked questions

The questions we actually get asked.

We already have Microsoft’s protection, or a spam filter. Why SAFE MAIL?

Keep them: they stop viruses and spam, and SAFE MAIL replaces neither. What they let through is fraud with no virus and no suspicious link — just a well-written email. The simplest way to know is to check: in two minutes, SAFE MAIL shows you what got past your protection this week. If it finds nothing, you don’t need us.

What can SAFE MAIL see and do in our mailboxes?

Two things, and not one more: read incoming messages to analyse them, and label them or move them to a folder. SAFE MAIL cannot send email on your behalf, access your files, or touch your directory. Those limits are enforced by Microsoft when you grant access — not by a promise from us.

Does anyone read our emails?

No. A program reads them, not a person. Message content is not stored and trains no artificial intelligence. Your IT team only sees messages judged fraudulent — never the rest of your employees’ mail.

Where is our data processed?

In the region you choose: France, the European Union, the Nordic countries, Eastern Europe, the Gulf, Singapore… The analysis runs on our own GPUs, in that region, and never leaves it. Your emails stay in your Microsoft 365 mailboxes; nothing is kept.

Does SAFE MAIL read attachments, PDFs and QR codes?

Yes: the text of PDFs and documents, QR codes hidden in an image, emails made of a single picture, and emails forwarded as attachments. That is where fake invoices and altered bank details hide today. A harmless-looking “please find our invoice attached” whose fraud sits entirely in the PDF no longer gets through.

What if SAFE MAIL gets it wrong?

Nothing is ever deleted. A message set aside is recovered in one click, by the employee themselves. And at first SAFE MAIL touches nothing: it shows you what it would have done, and you only let it act once you have seen that it judges well.

What changes for my employees?

Almost nothing. They keep their mailbox and their habits. When a message is doubtful they see a clear label — “Payment to verify” — and one sentence explaining why. No software to install, no training.

Do we need an IT specialist to set it up?

You need whoever administers your Microsoft 365, for two minutes: they sign in and approve one screen. Nothing to install, nothing to configure, and your email setup is not modified.

One of our own accounts is compromised and sends fraud internally. Does SAFE MAIL see it?

Yes. Internal messages are read like any other, and a colleague who suddenly “changes bank details” or asks for a password is reported to your team.

How do we stop?

In one click, without notice. SAFE MAIL removes its labels, puts messages back where they were, and loses all access to your mailboxes. You can also revoke its access yourself from Microsoft 365, at any time.

Can we exclude some mailboxes?

Yes, and without ticking them one by one. Everything is protected by default, newcomers included; you only describe the exceptions, by Microsoft Entra group or by domain. You manage the group in your own directory, as usual: a mailbox that joins it leaves coverage the next day. A manual exclusion is still possible, and no rule undoes it. Every protected mailbox is billed, including a shared mailbox or a meeting room: if you do not want them protected, exclude them.

How much does it cost?

The first 7 days are free, no credit card needed. After that, from €2.50 per mailbox per month, with no commitment. Without a subscription, analysis stops when the trial ends.

Not the person who manages your email?

Setup has to be approved by whoever administers your Microsoft 365. Send them this link: they approve one screen, and the whole company is protected. Two minutes, nothing else to do.

Put it to the test. On your own email.

In two minutes our AI re-reads your week and shows you the scams nobody had seen. 7 days free.
